Certified Focusing-Oriented Therapist

Personal Statement

I have always been fascinated by the human condition, growing up in a world that didn’t make sense at the time. A move to the USA at a pivotal moment in life created new opportunities and horizons, and I studied to become both a Marriage & Family Therapist and later Master Somatic Coach. California was my home for several decades and now back in my native UK I am a somatic coach-therapist, weaving focusing in to this professional offer. I work primarily with individual clients in private practice and offer workshops to professionals interested in somatics and the whole-body approach to change.

My therapeutic approach:

Trained as both somatic coach and systems based therapist, I offer the breadth of coaching and depth of therapy, integrated with wholebody focusing. I believe change comes only when the wisdom of the body is taken into account. Moreover, change is sustained with a dedication to practices (practice makes permanent) and the respectful support of a deep listening partner assists in that endeavour.

Location(s):

Central London for occasional face to face meetings, otherwise I work internationally on zoom.
